The Automation of Everything: How IoT is becoming the Data Economy

The data lifecycle is becoming faster and faster as we are able to capture data (IoT), transmit it (fiber & 5G), analyze it (AI/ML) and automate a response in milliseconds. Data-enabled automation is transforming every industry and fundamentally shifting the economy. This talk explores how emerging automation technologies are impacting industry and how we live as data lifecycles approach zero.

Executive Director, Raleigh Internet of Things (RIoT) 

Tom is Executive Director of RIoT, supporting Internet of Things and disruptive technology industry growth. Under Tom’s leadership, RIoT has launched the RIoT Accelerator Program, RIoT Studios, which includes the RIoT Underground Podcast, and RIoT’s ED series. He has grown RIoT from a Research Triangle focused organization to one with international reach.

AITP-RTP board members may take pictures or a video recording of presenters and attendees for various purposes.  However, the use of any kind of video recording or video streaming device from attendees is not permitted.  Registration to the meeting implies acceptance of this policy.
